This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use, and disclosure of
Your information when You use Fokus (the Service) and tells You about Your
privacy rights and how the law protects You.
We use Your Personal Data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, You agree to the
collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
1. Interpretation and Definitions
Interpretation
The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following
conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear
in singular or in plural.
Definitions

Account means a unique account created for You to access Our Service or parts of
Our Service.

Affiliate means an entity that controls, is controlled by, or is under common
control with a party, where “control” means ownership of 50% or more of the shares, equity
interest, or other securities entitled to vote for election of directors or other managing
authority.

Application refers to Fokus, the email management software program provided by
the Company.

Company (referred to as either “the Company,” “We,” “Us,” or “Our” in this
Agreement) refers to Omiwato Ventures AB, Stockholm, Sweden.
- Country refers to: Sweden.

Device means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, a
cellphone, or a digital tablet.

Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable
individual.
- Service refers to the Application.

Service Provider means any natural or legal person who processes the data on
behalf of the Company. It refers to third-party companies or individuals employed by the Company
to facilitate the Service, to provide the Service on behalf of the Company, to perform services
related to the Service, or to assist the Company in analyzing how the Service is used.

Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use
of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page
visit).

You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company or other
legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.
2. Collecting and Using Your Personal Data
Types of Data Collected
Personal Data
While using Our Service, We may ask You to provide Us with certain personally identifiable
information that can be used to contact or identify You. Personally identifiable information may
include, but is not limited to:
- Email address
- Your name
- Your public Google profile information (e.g., profile photo URL, display name)
Usage Data
Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service. Usage Data may include information
such as:
- Your Device’s Internet Protocol address (e.g., IP address)
- Browser type and version
- Pages of Our Service that You visit
- Time and date of Your visit
- Time spent on those pages
- Unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data
When You access the Service by or through a mobile device, We may collect certain information
automatically, including the type of mobile device You use, Your mobile device unique ID, Your
mobile operating system, and unique device identifiers. We may also collect information Your
browser sends whenever You visit Our Service.
3. Information Collected While Using Fokus
Fokus is designed to filter emails using artificial intelligence. In some cases, We may process the
entire contents of Your emails transiently (in memory) to perform this filtering and classification.
However, We do not permanently store or retain such email content after processing is completed.
Additionally, We collect and store email-related metadata (e.g., sender, subject, timestamps) for
up to 30 days for monitoring and troubleshooting purposes, as well as for abuse and misuse
detection. After 30 days, this metadata is deleted unless We are required by law to retain it
longer.
4. Google User Data
If You choose to connect a Google account to Fokus, We may receive certain data from your Google
account. This includes, but is not limited to, email headers (sender, recipient, subject, timestamp)
and limited portions of the email body content as needed for classification, as well as your public
Google profile information (e.g., display name, profile photo URL).

Collection: We collect only the Google data necessary to perform our core
service of filtering and classifying emails, and to properly identify you within the Service.

Use: We use Google user data exclusively to deliver, maintain, and enhance our
email filtering features. We do not use Google user data for targeted advertising,
selling to data brokers, or any other purpose outside of providing or improving the user-facing
features of Fokus.

Sharing and Disclosure: We do not sell or transfer Google user data to third
parties for advertising, marketing, or any disallowed purpose (e.g., determining credit-worthiness,
interest-based advertising). We may share data with service providers solely for the purpose of
running and improving our core services (e.g., Google Cloud Platform), and we require those
service providers to adhere to strict confidentiality and security obligations.

Protection: We employ encryption in transit and at rest where technically
feasible, along with stringent access controls, to protect the confidentiality of your Google user
data. Our security procedures are designed to prevent unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure
of such data.

Retention and Deletion: We store Google user data, such as email metadata,
only for as long as necessary to perform our services or comply with legal obligations. You may
request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. Unless otherwise required by law, we
will permanently remove your Google user data from our systems upon request or once it is no
longer needed for the stated business purposes.
We do not retain any user data obtained from Google Workspace APIs for developing or training generalized AI/ML models outside the scope of providing or improving our user-facing features.
By using Fokus and granting the necessary permissions, You acknowledge that You have read and agree
to this section regarding Google user data usage.
5. Use of Your Personal Data
The Company may use Personal Data for the following purposes:

To provide and maintain our Service: Including to monitor the usage of Our
Service and process Your data for email filtering.

To manage Your Account: To manage Your registration as a user of the Service.

For the performance of a contract: The development, compliance, and undertaking
of the purchase contract for products, items, or services You have purchased.

To contact You: By email or other forms of electronic communication regarding
updates, security alerts, or informative communications related to the functionalities of the
Service.

To provide You with news and offers: Unless You have opted out, We may provide
You with news, special offers, and general information about other services and events similar to
those You have already purchased or enquired about.

To manage Your requests: To attend and manage Your requests to Us.

For business transfers: We may use Your information to evaluate or conduct a
merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, or other sale or transfer of some or all of
Our assets.

For other purposes: Data analysis, identifying usage trends, determining the
effectiveness of Our promotional campaigns, and evaluating and improving Our Service.

Platform and Google Analytics to help us analyze Service usage and performance. These Service
Providers are prohibited from using Your data for any purpose other than providing their services

For business transfers: If the Company is involved in a merger, sale of assets,
financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of Our business, Your Personal Data may be
transferred.

With Affiliates: We may share Your information with Our affiliates (e.g., parent
or subsidiary companies), requiring them to honor this Privacy Policy.

With business partners: We may share Your information with Our business partners
to offer You certain products, services, or promotions that assist in providing or improving the
Service.

the public areas (if such features exist), such information may be viewed by all users.

6. Retention of Your Personal Data
We will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this
Privacy Policy. We will also retain and use Your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply
with Our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce Our legal agreements and policies.
Email Metadata: Stored for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring, troubleshooting, and
analytics, then deleted unless otherwise required by law.
Usage Data: Generally retained for a shorter period unless used for security or
Service functionality improvements, or if We are legally obligated to retain it for a longer
period.
7. Transfer of Your Personal Data
Your information, including Personal Data, may be processed at Our operating offices and in any
other places where the parties involved in the processing are located. This means that Your data
may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of Your jurisdiction, where
data protection laws may differ.
We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that Your data is treated securely and in
accordance with this Privacy Policy, and that no transfer of Your Personal Data occurs to an
organization or country unless there are adequate controls in place to protect Your information.
8. Delete Your Personal Data
You have the right to delete or request that We assist in deleting the Personal Data We have
collected about You.
The Service may provide the ability to delete certain information from within the application or
account settings.
You may also contact Us directly to request deletion of additional information.
However, We may need to retain certain information when required by law or if We have a lawful
basis to do so.
9. Disclosure of Your Personal Data
Business Transactions
If the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, Your Personal Data may be
transferred. We will provide notice before such transfer and any different Privacy Policy.
Law Enforcement
Under certain circumstances, We may be required to disclose Your Personal Data if required to do so
by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
Other Legal Requirements
We may disclose Your Personal Data to:
- Comply with a legal obligation
- Protect and defend Our rights or property
- Prevent wrongdoing

10. Security of Your Personal Data
We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect Your Personal Data. This includes
encryption in transit (e.g., TLS) and, where feasible, encryption at rest. However, no method of
transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While We cannot
guarantee absolute security, We continuously work to protect Your information using industry
standard measures.
11. Children's Privacy
Fokus does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of
13. Individuals aged 13 and above are permitted to use the Service. If You are a parent or guardian
and believe Your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us. If We become aware
that We have collected Personal Data from anyone under the age of 13 without parental consent, We
will take steps to remove that information from Our servers.
12. Links to Other Websites
Our Service may contain links to other websites not operated by Us. If You click a third-party link,
You will be directed to that site. We strongly advise You to review the Privacy Policy of every site
You visit. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies,
or practices of any third-party sites or services.
13. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update Our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify You of any changes by posting
the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date.
We may also notify You via email and/or a prominent notice within Our Service prior to the change
becoming effective. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
